Bugatti - A legendary name in the automotive industry, amongst car connoisseurs and pretty much everyone else. The French luxury brand (founded in France by an Italian industrialist named Bugatti) has made the impossible possible: To produce a car of this magnitude in series: voilà the Bugatti Chiron, hypercar with 1500 HP. Produced and assembled in Molsheim, Alsace, the Hypercars are (naturally) 100% handmade.

The production site of the Bugatti Chiron is a studio - not a factory. The designers insisted.
A specially developed W16 engine gives the bolide its power, coupled with exceptional luxury and safety systems, a piece of automotive art is created here.
At Bugatti the motto is "If it is comparable - it is not a Bugatti".

At the end of the day a car is still a car. Different specs based on where it’s made but other than that it’s a overpriced trophy so unless the car can fly most of these car are rarely driven anyway. If this is such a high technology vehicle I am wondering why it has so many parts. No matter the technology electric cars and trucks are the future fast and coming.

Ok guys, monocock... Really? I must say, that's rather hilarious. Notwithstanding, the pinnacle of performance of a limited production supercar is well enough achieved with this marvel of human engineering. Being a Range Rover guy, I have a keen appreciation for luxury, high performance and off road capability. Sans the latter, Bugatti is unwaveringly committed to a heightened degree in the fickle, discerning and discriminating world of par excellence automotive engineering and development. It would be an absolute honor to sweep the atelier floors of such a legendary institution. That's where the rubber meets the road. Yet, no smudges nor tire marks where immaculate conception takes place..

The anti French bias in this comment section is hilarious. France doesn't have good engineers? 😂🤡Airbus planes are assembled near Toulouse, France. Many of the world's largest cruise ships are designed and built in France. They also have some of the best aerospace companies in the world (Safran, Dassault). They have their own missile systems, great submarines and frigates, and they designed and built their own military jet. The French and British built the Concorde in the late 60s which at the time was absolutely revolutionary. France was ahead of most countries with its TGV, a high speed train. France is one of the few nations to have a fully operational nuclear aircraft career. It is also one of the most advance country in the world in terms of nuclear energy. I am probably missing a few industries and invention there... Of course in terms of cars, Germany is far superior. Bugatti is more of an international company. Italian, French, German, and a bit Swiss too.

    16. Tool Time

Not to sound negative, but I don't understand the big draw of this thing. It's fast. Big deal. You'll never drive it that fast; no where to do it and you'll be too inexperienced even if you found a place. It's impractical, cannot do anything with it, has no actual purpose and is an enormous financial headache. It's an extremely overpriced ego trip that no one cares about and cannot be used for anything. It is, by exact definition, a White Elephant. Sure, it's fun to look at and watch its assembly, but it certainly isn't something to drool over. It's a mechanical object designed to do almost nothing but go fast. Whoopie! You see it at a car show and it's over. If it went 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds or topped at 210 or so, no one would give it much press except to say it cost too much for what you get. It gets press because of 1 second on a clock and goes too fast to be anywhere safe. There are so many other vehicles so much more worthy of attention and fun that you could actually own and do things with. Some current Russian vehicles, for example, are a real hoot. There's lots of stuff out there. Classics are always worth looking at or for. This thing? Once the glitter is gone, it's still a massively overpriced machine only financially careless people will buy. If you bought one and NO ONE EVER saw you with it, EVER, most of the "urge" to get one would evaporate like smoke. The novelty would soon wear off and you'd be stuck with what it always was; an extremely expensive paperweight. If you buy one to gloat it over others, there's your ultimate answer.

Back in the Sixties I used to race down Air Force Reserve airfields on Guam. It was great watching the coconut trees whiz by. I had a slant six Plymouth Valiant in red. It cost $300. I paid for it bagging Groceries at Anderson, Air Force Base. I bet I had more fun doing that then all the rich guys getting a Bugatti. Plus I got to do all my own mechanical work.
